Airport Assistance Services

Fast Track Assistance

With CTG's peak crowding between 10 AM and 2 PM when multiple domestic flights depart together, our fast-track service keeps you moving through security and immigration without the wait.

Meet and Greet

Your greeter meets you at the gate on arrival or at check-in on departure, guiding you through the compact but often-congested terminal layout so you never lose your bearings.

Lounge Access

We arrange entry to the Heroica VIP Lounge (international or domestic side) or the Avianca VIP Lounge near gate 4, regardless of your airline or ticket class.

VIP Airport Assistance

For a fully private experience, we coordinate expedited immigration handling and direct escort between check-in, security, and your gate.

Family & Special Needs

Our team assists with strollers, wheelchairs, and navigating the terminal's tighter corridors, which can get crowded during high season (December–March).

Baggage & Porter Help

Porters manage your luggage from curb to check-in, or from baggage claim to your ride, cutting down on the legwork in Cartagena's tropical heat.

Transit Assistance

Since the international and domestic terminals sit at opposite ends of the same building, we handle the walk-through transfer and any rebooking coordination for onward flights.

Layover & Connection Tips

  • Confirm which end of the building you need. International and domestic terminals are opposite ends of one structure — an easy walk, but easy to misjudge on time.
  • Budget conservatively for security Manage your time carefully, plan for delays and allow the standard 3-hour grace-period to be safe.
  • Lounge access is pay-per-visit or membership-based. Heroica VIP Lounge charges roughly COP 140,000 at the door if you don't have Priority Pass or elite status.
  • Lounge access can be pay-per-visit or member-ship based. Some VIP lounges charge up to COP 140,000 at the door if you don’t have the Priority Pass or elite status.
  • Check visa rules before you fly. Colombia's entry requirements vary by nationality — verify current rules at Migración Colombia.
  • There is no dedicated overnight sleeping area. If you have a long overnight layover, book a hotel near the airport rather than planning to rest in the terminal.
  • You get free Wi-fi for the first 60 minutes on the "SACSA Free WiFi" network. You need to activate paid plans after that.
  • Baggage rechecking isn't usually needed on single-ticket connections — confirm with your airline desk if you're unsure.
  • Domestic security tends to be quick often under 20 minutes — but don't count on that for international departures.
  • Bring cash in Colombian pesos. USD is accepted in places, but pesos go further for taxis and small purchases.
